Adult Ministry is practised in a variety of ways, and is summarised below.

Four times a year, on a Saturday morning, we all meet at a home or down at riverbank BBQ's to enjoy good bacon, eggs and conversation.

Find the dates on the Google Calendar.

This is a great opportunity for introducing friends and family.

Jesus said, “Freely you have received; freely give.” The Mission Committee aims to raise awareness of opportunities to give by bringing needs before the congregation. This is done by means of the printed word, short talks, DVD presentations and guest speakers.

At present we are involved in supporting education in the Middle East, translation work in Africa, an income generating project and support for local initiatives on the Sub-Continent, church-planting and child sponsorship in Asia. We support by prayer, finance, and letter-writing where appropriate.

Small Groups

Small group ministry is a vital element of the Anglesea Baptist community life. It is one of our goals to improve the participation rate of members in small groups.

It is in a community of small groups that we share the triumphs and tragedies of the week, learn form the Bible and each other,  pray and support one another and our mission families. Some studies are based on the Sunday Sermons, while others will be flexible and for each group to decide.

Small groups run on Monday evening (men’s study), Thursday morning (Womens), and Thursday evening (men & women). The Youth & Young Adult small group runs fortnightly on Sunday evenings. Contact Pastor James Lewis for more details on each group.
